Age Friendly Leeds

Age Friendly Leeds brings partners together to make Leeds a place where people (age 50+) age well, lead healthy, connected, independent lives and are valued, feel respected and are recognised as assets.

This has a focus on increasing the number of years people spend in good health across six topic areas: Active, Included and Respected; Employment & Learning; Healthy & Independent Ageing; Housing; Public & Civic Spaces; Travel & Road Safety. Leeds is nationally recognised as a leading example of Age Friendly innovation and collaborates with regional, national and international partnerships to share and embed best practice.
